Pasqualina A. Burd

SPRINGFIELD – Pasqualina A. Burd, 92, passed away on March 17, 2018 at CareOne at Redstone in East Longmeadow. Born in Springfield on September 12, 1925, she was the daughter to the late Augustino and Giacianta (DiMauro) Misisco. She loved to sew and cook for her family. Her Italian cookies and Easter Bread will be missed. Besides her parents, Pasqualina was predeceased by her husband James Burd; her sisters Connie Boudreau and Mary LaFleur; sister-in-law Dorothy Serafino and her great grandson Sean Dougan. To cherish her memory, she leaves her children Dennis Burd and his wife Anita of Mendon, MA, Jim Burd and his wife Diana of Stafford Springs, CT and Linda Gorman and her husband Bill of East Longmeadow; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4-7PM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 beginning at 8:45am at the funeral home followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Holy Name Church 323 Dickinson Street, Springfield.
