Marguerite H. Messer

Feeding Hills-Marguerite Messer, 90, passed away surrounded by family on November 7, 2019. She was born in Greenfield MA on December 31, 1928 to the late Raymond and Eunice (Wyatt) Messer. Marguerite grew up in Shelburne Falls, and worked as a Librarian for the City of Springfield for over 35 years. Marguerite was an independent spirit who loved books, golfing, writing, and family activities. She was predeceased by her two sisters Anne Peters and Marion Snead. She will be deeply missed by her sister, Grace Perkins of Windsor MA, nieces Judy Bailey and her husband Jim of Windsor MA, Liz McEwan of Montgomery AL, and Janet Peters of Littlefield CO; her nephews Ken Peters and his wife Pam of Westfield MA and Steven Peters and his wife Shelly of Huntsburg OH, and her extended family and friends. Services are to be held privately by the family.
