John F. Reseigne

Agawam – John F. Reseigne, 72, of Agawam, MA; passed away suddenly surrounded by his family Sunday, July 15, 2018 following a lengthy illness. Born March 9, 1946 in Springfield, MA, he was a son to the late Frank and Shirley (Hirt) Reseigne. He was a 1964 graduate of Springfield Trade High School, and served proudly with the Army National Guard for several years. He married Barbara A. Cremonini on October 13, 1973, and together they shared nearly 45 years of marriage. John was employed as supervisor for the graphics department with Mass Mutual for 23 years. Following retirement in 1998, he continued working for nearly a decade with Ouimette Printing in West Springfield. He was an avid college football fan, and enjoyed watching his favorite team, the Oklahoma Sooners. John also loved music and playing the guitar. From playing out and recording music with his band the Easterlys to playing songs for his family, he was always happy with a guitar in his hands. John’s true passion, however, was spending time with his family, and creating wonderful memories at Cape Cod. In addition to his beloved wife, Barbara, he leaves behind his loving daughter Alison Robb and her husband, Brandon; grandchildren Zachary and Brett Robb all of Southwick; brothers Raymond Reseigne and his wife, Beverly of Ware, MA; and Frank “Jude” Reseigne of CA. He will also be missed by many loving relatives and friends. A funeral service for John will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 beginning at 8:45AM from Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam with a Liturgy of Christian Burial, to be celebrated at 10:00AM, from Sacred Heart Church, 1065 Springfield St., Feeding Hills. Interment will follow in Agawam Center Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4-7pm on Friday, July 20th at the funeral home.
