Gladys S. Bauer

Gladys S. Bauer (MacGillivray), 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020.  She was born on January 13, 1932 in Glen Cove, NY, the daughter of the late Alexander R. MacGillivray and Olga K. (Andersen) MacGillivray.  She was a graduate of Mepham High School in Bellmore, NY.

 She enjoyed playing in the band.  She is predeceased by her lifelong love and husband of 63 years Lawrence R. Bauer Jr. She was a loving, kind, compassionate woman who gave her all to her family, she made a home full of lifetime celebrations and memories.

Forever in the hearts of her 3 children;  Pamela Foster and her husband Timothy of Southwick, Karen Hoy and her husband Stephen of Monson and Lawrence Bauer and his wife Brenda of Chicopee, 5 cherished grandchildren;  Jennifer Soloway  her husband Matthew, Nicholas Jordan, Derek Hoy and his wife Megan, Gregory Jordan, and Joshua Jordan. They will all tell you Grandma was the fun end of the dinner table.  Gladys had 5 adored great-grandchildren; Adelyn, Noah, Declan, Finn and Brodie.  She was predeceased by her sister Doris Hahn.  Gladys and Lawrence are together now in love for eternity.
