Elizabeth Dubuque

Delray Beach, Florida- Elizabeth “Betty” (Yacovone) Dubuque passed away on Saturday (April 14, 2018) at the age of 91 in Mount Saint Vincent Care Center , Holyoke; where she had resided since 2010. Betty ascended into the journey of everlasting life surrounded by her loving family. She was the devoted wife for 53 years to the late Arnold “Spike” Dubuque, who passed away on June 7, 1998. Betty was born in Springfield, daughter of the late Domenico and Elizabetta (Veccharelli) Yacovone. Betty lived there until 1961, when she moved with her family to Ware, Massachusetts ; where she and “Spike” operated Silhouette Cleaners until 1986; when they retired to Florida.
Betty will be forever missed by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her two beloved daughters and sons in law, Linda and Dino Frigo, Liz and Jerry Dansereau; six adored grandchildren and spouses, Susan Frigo, Deana and Vinnie Pallotta, Pamela and Dave Burnett, Richard Dansereau and fiancée Melissa Scibelli, Michele and Matt Martinelli, Marc and Jackie Dansereau; 17 cherished great grandchildren, Hannah Frigo, Alexis and Mario Pallotta, Jake Burnett, Evan and Justin Dansereau, Brianna, Nicholas, Tyler, Cali , and Mia Martinelli, Malyna, Siena, Zoe, Kyla, Saraya, and Ivy Dansereau. Her daughters ask all to join in celebrating their mother’s loving and caring life. Please keep her in your prayers. We thank the staff and wonderful caregivers at Mount Saint Vincent; Ruth, from Harmony House; Laurie, and the team from Holyoke VNA Hospice. They will be forever remembered for their kindness, dedication and support. God Bless them ! The family will receive friends for calling hours from 10:00AM until 11:30AM, on Friday April 20, 2018, in the Forastiere Smith Family Funeral Home, 220 North Main St., East Longmeadow. Funeral services will begin at 11:30AM in the funeral home . A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 12:30PM in St. Patrick’s Church, 1900 Allen Street, Springfield. Burial will be private.
