Dolores Felicia Sacco

Dolores Felicia Sacco, 81, passed away at home surrounded by loving family on August 7, 2020. She was born in Springfield MA on December 24, 1938. Dolores was a graduate of Technical High School in Springfield and attended Springfield Technical Community College. She was employed as the office manager for Lords + Ladies Salon at Baystate West for over 25 years and upon their closing she went to SIS bank. She retired from the East Longmeadow Branch of TD Bank North in 2004. During her retirement, she enjoyed working as a hostess at Pasquale’s Restaurant and as a cashier at Frigo’s Deli in East Longmeadow. Dolores was a former member of Italian Women’s Club, Le Stella D’Italia, Italian Cultural Center and was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Dolores was blessed with a large extended family and always looked forward to getting together for family parties and holiday gatherings. Dolores was predeceased by her parents Frank and Louise Sacco, as well as her sister Linda Villamaino. Dolores leaves behind her sister Annette Stirlacci, her brother-in-law, John Villamaino and his wife Donna Villamaino, and her former brother-in-law Frank Stirlacci; her nieces Lisa (John) Cirelli, Nicole (David) Stratton, Dr. Frank Stirlacci, Joe Villamaino; great nieces and nephews Christopher Cirelli, Dominic (Kaitlyn) Cirelli, Arianna Cirelli, Danielle Stratton, Samantha Stratton, Gianfranco Stirlacci, Francesca Stirlacci, Christina Stirlacci, great-great nephews Dominic Cirelli Jr. and Nico Cirelli as well as many cousins and dear friends. Friends and family are invited for calling hours on Thursday August 13, 2020 from 4-7pm in Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., East Longmeadow. Funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Dolores’s name may be made to St Jude’s Children Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905, or to Sisters of St. Joseph of Springfield, 577 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
