Cesarina Asta-Ferrero

Springfield – Cesarina (Alessandrini) Asta-Ferrero, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at Mount St. Vincent Care Center in Holyoke. She was born in San Polo Dei Cavalieri, Italy to the late Origene and Angiolina (Meucci) Alessandrini. She graduated High School in Italy. Cesarina was the deli manager at Waldbaums Food Mart in Springfield for 32 years. She loved to work and enjoyed all the people she worked with. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 32 years, Ronald C. Asta-Ferrero in 1992. She leaves her devoted children, AnnaMaria Puc and her husband Joe of Southampton, and Ronald Asta-Ferrero and his wife Lisa of Ludlow; 4 grandchildren, Gina Puc and her husband Dan Summers, Stephanie Puc and her fiancé Mike Skorupski, Cassandra Puc and her fiancé Anthony Larareo, and Rebbeca Sypek and her husband Michael; and a great grandson, Anthony Skorupski. In addition to her parents, Cesarina was also predeceased by her sister, AnnaMaria Alessandrini. Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, February 10th from 4-7PM at Forastiere Family Funeral Home, 45 Locust St., Springfield. Cesarina’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11th from the funeral home at 8:45AM followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Holy Name Church, Springfield at 10AM.
