Brenda L. Dittmar

EAST LONGMEADOW – Brenda L. Dittmar, 68, passed away on March 18, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 13, 1951 in Syracuse, NY, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Annieta (Farrow) Henry. She was an avid New England Patriots fan and was known by her family as their “sideline coach”. During the off-season, she loved the Hallmark Channel, visiting Scituate Beach and cooking. To cherish her memory, Brenda leaves her children Brian Dittmar and his wife Debra of South Windsor, CT and Lisa Clear and her husband Craig of East Longmeadow; her grandchildren Nicholas, Nathan, Justin and Sean; her brothers John Flower and his wife Patricia of Clermont, FL, Bruce Henry and his wife Janice of Scituate, MA, Barry Henry and his wife Beverly of Vero Beach, FL and Brian Henry and his wife Tina of Chicopee, MA; many nieces and nephews as well as her good friend Dan Root. The family would like to thank Mercy Medical Center, Dr. Bishop, Dr. Rosen, Kelly (her nurse) and the whole team for their compassionate care of Brenda. Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, March 21, 2020 from 9:30 AM – 11 AM at Forastiere Smith Funeral Home, 220 North Main Street, East Longmeadow.
