Barry L. Braim

CHESTER - Barry “Tim” Braim, 72, passed away peacefully November 11, 2019. Born February 14, 1947 in Allentown, PA, he was a son to the late Lee and Dorothy (Ibach) Braim. Tim was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country proudly at the Pentagon, and was also a graduate of Rider University. He was employed for 20 years at Springfield Technical Community College and later retired as Chief Financial Officer from Greenfield Community College following 18 years of service. Tim was an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman, however, his greatest passion was spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Victoria; son Jason Braim and his wife Cristine of Morrisville, PA; daughter Amanda Siano and her husband Daniel of Chicopee; grandchildren Justin and Ryan Braim and Braeden Siano; brother Richard Braim of Allentown, PA; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00-11:00AM on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam with a Celebration of Life ceremony beginning at 11:00AM. A private burial will be held at the convenience of his family.
