Melissa Lynn Grenon

Melissa Lynn Grenon, 42, of Chicopee, formerly of Southwick, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017. Born in Springfield, MA on October 18, 1974, she was the daughter of Gertrude (Ryan) Raymond and the late Leon Grenon. Missy grew up in Southwick, graduated from Southwick High School, Class of 1992. She was full of energy and had an infectious smile. She was loving and caring and was a devoted daughter and mother. Missy was taken too soon and will be missed by so many lives that she touched. Besides her mother Gertrude Raymond of Dallas, GA, she leaves 5 children, Sierra and Kylie Clark of Chicopee, and Giovanni “GB”, Wesley, and Ravin Carero of Enfield, CT; her brother, Joseph Grenon and his wife Christine and their 2 children Seth and Cole, all of Georgia; her fiancé Daniel Thomas of Chicopee; her 2 cats; as well as several cousins, aunts, and uncles. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her stepfather, Ronald Raymond. Her family will receive friends on Saturday, March 25th from 3-6 PM at the Southwick Forastiere Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
